On no practical notice, the Minneapolis City Council's Public Safety committee is holding a public hearing on the reappointment of Police Chief Janee Harteau and Civil Rights Dept Exec Director Velma Korbel.  They are planning for most people who care about this issue not to know about it or show up.  Let's show them something different!

Harteau gave us the raid on the 4th pct encampment and partners with Korbel to ensure the OPCR never disciplines complaints from the community (3 years, 1100 complaints, zero discipline!).  The two of them are a disaster for the community.  If you care about this issue, move heaven and earth to be at this public hearing AND speak out.
